on the West coast of Lake Garda, Gardone Riviera is known for having been the last town of the former poet Gabriele D&#8217;Annunzio.<\/p><blockquote><p>Here, the poet lived &#8211; between 1922 and 1938 &#8211; in a hillside estate called &#8220;Il Vittoriale degli Italiani&#8221;, which contains, among others, an amphitheatre, the cruiser &#8220;Puglia&#8221; &#8211; set into a hillside, and a mausoleum.<\/p><\/blockquote><p>The parish church offers an outstanding landscape of the Lake, from its rear balcony.<\/p><p>The port is just at the beginning of the hill, and provides a lakeside romantic walkway, getting to the boat docking and the Grand Hotel.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section
